Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Directory Three LLC ("AhTown", "we", "us"), which operates ahtown.com. By purchasing or using a listing, you agree to them.
1. What we sell
AhTown sells advertising, specifically a territory-exclusive listing. For each trade category, each ZIP code has at most one featured business at a time. While your subscription is active and paid, you are the only business featured on AhTown for your ZIP codes in your trade.
This is a paid advertising placement. It is not a certification, license, endorsement, award, membership in any association, or a government or industry credential.
2. What we do not promise
- We do not promise any number of leads, phone calls, customers or revenue.
- We do not promise any search engine or AI assistant ranking, placement, or timing.
- We do not promise any level of traffic to your listing.
You are buying exclusivity and a listing. Nothing else is implied.
3. We verify nothing
We do not verify licenses, insurance, certifications, reviews, business history, or the quality of any provider's work. Any business that pays may be listed. Our listings are not a recommendation, and you should make your own checks before hiring anyone.
4. Pricing and billing
- The price is $100 per month for each block of up to 3 ZIP codes, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month on the day you signed up, until canceled.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- If you add a block during a month, the added amount is prorated by Stripe.
- Your price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active. If we change list pricing, existing members keep their rate.
5. Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel at any time from your billing account, without contacting us.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Your listing stays live until then, and your ZIP codes reopen afterward.
- Payments are not refundable for partial months. The one exception: if we assign you a ZIP code that was already claimed by another member in your trade, we refund that charge in full.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails, your listing stays live for a grace period of 7 days while we retry the charge and email you. If payment is not completed by the end of that period, the subscription is canceled and your ZIP codes are released and made available to other businesses.
7. Your listing content
- You give us permission to display your business name, logo, phone number, service description, service area, website link and review links on AhTown.
- You confirm you have the right to use what you give us, and that it is accurate and not misleading.
- We may edit formatting, and we may remove content that is unlawful, deceptive, or that we reasonably believe harms other users.
8. Territory rules
- Territory rights last only while your subscription is active and paid.
- Territory rights are tied to your business and cannot be sold, transferred or shared.
- If you cancel or lapse, you have no continuing claim to those ZIP codes. Another business may claim them immediately.
9. Ending an account
We may suspend or end a listing, with a prorated refund of the current month, if a business is using AhTown unlawfully, misrepresenting itself, or is the subject of credible complaints of harm to customers. We may also end service for any reason with 30 days' notice and a refund of any unused period.
10. No warranty and limit of liability
AhTown is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business.
11. Communications
We will email you about your account, billing and listing. You can opt out of our marketing email at any time by replying with "no" or using the unsubscribe link, and we will honor it promptly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing as a member after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
